An array of tomato sauces in colors white, orange, red, purple, black.
From Left to Right:  Spears T Green, Aunt Ruby's German Green, White Tomesol, Iles Yellow Latavian,  Persimon, Stump Of The World and Black From Tula

Many kinds of tomatoes for many purposes.

Tomatoes make good companion foods to wine, and match well with wines of similar attributes.

Foods that go well with white wine, will also go well with white tomatoes - to sum it up -
light tomatoes with lighter wines and dishes - darker tomatoes with heavier wines and bolder dishes.

That being said, my favorite of all these sauces is the Black From Tula.
To maximize tasting experience use a good quality sea salt and good olive oil.
